The fourth Frankfurt Summer School organized by Goethe University takes place from 17 July to 11 August 2017. The summer school covers the subject areas ‘Legal Studies’, ‘Psychology’ and ‘Natural and Life Sciences’.
All courses are held in English.
The focus areas of the different tracks are:
- Legal Studies – Law in a Globalized World – Fundamental, international and comparative aspects
- Psychology - Social Psychology and Organizational Behavior.
- Natural and Life Sciences - Modern and Ancient Organisms in the Context of Global Environmental Change
Legal Studies: At least one year of studies in the field of law.
Psychology: Be an undergraduate first semester (Bachelor) Student in Psychology. This programme is also open to undergraduate and graduate students from other fields of study as well as graduates interested in learning more about topics such as communication and leadership.
Natural and Life Sciences: Be a graduate student (Master) or advanced in an undergraduate (Bachelor) programme (at least two years of studies). Subject orientation: biology, geology, environmental sciences, (physical) geography.
Excursions and study tours to the German city of Heidelberg and the wine region Rheingau as well as a weekend visit to the French town of Strasbourg and an optional trip to Berlin are also part of the program.
The German language courses for beginners and more advanced learners take place in small learning groups.
2,000 € (accommodation incl. daily breakfast, seminar and cultural programme, the German language courses, all study material,health, liability and accident insurance and the transportation fee within Frankfurt).
